BRISCO Gorseinon 10K & 2K Family Fun Run

The BRISCO Gorseinon 10K is back for 2027, proudly organised by Morgan's Army Charitable Foundation.

Join hundreds of runners for one of South Wales' favourite community races as you enjoy a fast, fully closed-road course through the streets of Gorseinon while helping raise vital funds for Morgan's Army and other local causes.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on your first 10K, or simply running for a cause close to your heart, we'd love to welcome you to the start line.

2K Family Fun Run

Our popular 2K Family Fun Run is also open for entries, giving runners of all ages the chance to get involved. It's the perfect way for families to be part of the day's celebrations together. This year the 2K distance is timed and due to be offically measured.

Supporting Local Causes

The BRISCO Gorseinon 10K is now a not-for-profit event.

• 50% of all funds raised support Morgan's Army Charitable Foundation, helping families affected by childhood cancer across South Wales.
• 50% is donated to a local community cause, chosen by public vote.

Every entry helps make a real difference.

Race Day Information

The 10K race starts at 9:00am from Penyrheol Leisure Centre on Sunday 4th April 2027.

The scenic 10km course takes runners along fully closed roads through:

• Gorseinon High Street
• The cycle path
• Pontarddulais
• Grovesend

The course is fully marshalled and supported by experienced pacers.

Race Pack Collection

Race packs (including your race bib and timing chip) can be collected:

• Saturday 3rd April 2027 (details to be confirmed), or
• Race Day: 7:30am–8:30am at Penyrheol Leisure Centre.

Please bring a form of photo ID when collecting your race pack.

On the Course

• Water station at approximately 5km
• Water and refreshments at the finish
• Fully closed roads throughout the event
• Finishers' medal and goodies for every participant

Road closures will remain in place until the final runner has completed the course.
